love...dates

How do you know when you are in love? We hear from people all these stories of how they fell in love..."he took me here and..." "we were walking and..." but the most famous of them all is also the one that bugs us more than any other! " I JUST KNEW"
Now i have had some boyfriends, and i have gone on dates...and there are those moments when you question "Is he the one for me?"
but then (it seems most of the time) he dumps you, or you dump him because it's not working out...well guess what?! its ok! if it doesn't work out, let me tell you, it is way better to find out during that dating process as to becoming infatuated with someone and marrying them (thats when you realize something may be wrong).

You are not alone.

Many people experience this in our world...maybe because dating isn't exactly in the Bible and thats not how God intended it...or maybe it was just the wrong person.

I want to tell you that it's ok :) your not alone and it's natural to want to be with someone else of the opposite gender. ( It is the way God made us)

but as for love...I want you to know that I was one of those little girls who dreamed of it!
I pretended to be a princess and imagined prince charming coming to my door to save me from the horrible dragon! and as I got older I realized that wouldn't happen so I hoped for a Godly man to show up with roses then go to one knee and propose...

then I dated a few guys...

The reality of it all is that you can have a fairy tale ending but it may be a little hard to get there...sometimes the princess has to fight a few dragons and other things in her path to get to where God wants her for the right prince. Today us princesses need to realize its not easy for us or the guys. We both have wars to win in this world with purity, faithfulness, relationships, family, friends, and so much more! But I will tell you that the only way you will make it through any of this is with God. The Bible tells us that God will not allow anything that we cannot handle with him (if you think about it God can handle anything so we shouldn't worry). But us princesses and princes of God need to fight and fight together!

Here is a tip for us to follow (and if you do it will help SOOOO much with some of the war)

Guys:
don't whisper in a girls ear that you love her, unless you intend to put on a ring, raise a family, and are prepared to stand for your family and with them (keeping God 1st) to live in this sinful world. And if you want a girl to respect you don't use pick-up lines and a lot of affection, restrain and listen to her (if she is the right one, you won't mind listening).

Girls:
Cover your bodies! Good grief! Some times we don't really think about it because we see our bodies every day and are used to 'em. Truth is if you want a guy to treat you right and if you want to marry someone who will put God before you (and that means a lot!), you need to respect his eyes as well. Plus if you save it all for marriage, woot!, he will be a happy man ;) and you will be a happy woman :D

everyone:
The only way you will be able to do this is with God YOU CAN NOT DO IT ALONE! Trust me! Reading your Bible at least once a day (even if it is one verse) will help your attitude! Praying every night and morning (if your dating or something, pray with the one your dating) will help a lot especially if you pray for wisdom. Go to a good home church and be faithful to the same one. Even if your family isn't stable, you need something in your life that is: God always will be and being in a church will help you have a sturdy foundation!

well thats it for today! speaking of church I got some youth and kids to teach some of that good Bible to! :D Blessings!
